Armlock
Magna Eiru
(Intro)
Beowulf is a legend, he was born a Geat,
Who knew he'd be the best warrior, you would ever meet.
He grew into a good man, was loyal to his king,
Lived a great life, was the last Waegmunding.
He was a threat in water, was a threat on land,
Was good to his men and the soldiers in his band.
In each arm, he's got the strength of 30 men,
He'll get his target in the open, the water or in the den.
(Chorus)
Magna Eiru, comin' at you from Valhalla,
We can do Mead Halls, parties and galas,
We're shining our chain mail and cleaning our swords
Turn the amp up, watch us unleash our word hoards.
Our rhymes are true and they're deeper than the mere,
As I got you in an armlock I can feel your fear.
He'll come out on top, with his powers diminished,
He killed a dragon, 9 sea brutes but wait I ain't finished.
Everyone despised, Grendel the brute beast,
Haunted the hall for twelve winters at least.
But then Beowulf slid in, he was the killer.
Mano a Mano, it was a thriller.
No weapons no armor, cause Grendel reversed it,
Went for the neck but Beowulf reversed it.
Now he got the troll in an armlock, crying for his mommy,
"The goon tore his whole arm off, everyone saw me!"
In the mead hall, is where this match was at,
He'll get the job done, in the field or up at bat.
He killed himself, just to break the clinch,
And ran to the mere, like a little *record scratch*.
(Chorus)
Grendel's mother anxiously sought out for revenge,
So she visited the mead hall late at night to avenge.
She arrived at the hall and killed the first one that she touched raw,
She escaped to her cursed mere, but of course Beowulf saw.
He followed her into a hell-like den,
She dragged him down and he couldn't defend.
In the worst situation he took a giant sword and ended it oh dear,
Rising victorious from the bloody hell-cursed mere.
(Bridge)
For 50 years, he was king,
And he loved to hear the kingdom birds sing.
Then one day when the sun was bright,
He saw the dragon challenge him to a fight.
He knew that it wasn't an easy opponent,
That the dragon was real and potent.
Not withstanding his strength and height,
It was no match for it's venomous bite.
And with all his might he grabbed his dagger,
And with all his strength he stabbed the bragger.
The dragon fell, to his feet,
And all that was left was a pile of meat.
Beowulf too came crashing down,
And with all the pain, he didn't have a frown.
(Chorus)

Whale Season
Reavers of the Whale Road
(Chorus)
Beowulf, Beowulf super strength
He don’t come all the way to play
Just think, he might be coming your way
Grendel and his mama too yeah they dead
Oh, wait yo you might be next, he might still see red
Before that go to bed
Y’all just praising, y’all just waiting
Mad he getting, Grendel’s coming
Good time, fun time, warrior hunt time
This ain’t no dream, rip off their face beast
Twelve years gone by, sons they died, mamas they cried
We need back up, Beowulf can you reach bro
Fourteen guys plus a hero, welcome to Daneland,
This gonna be like a free throw
Unferth, what you saying, go to bed let’s see what popping bro
One Geat dead, ripped off his head
Beowulf watched from a bed while his brother died
For Grendel, this was suicide
Beowulf caught him from the side, arms intertwined
Grendel's arm now ripped off, the Danes could sing their happy songs
Twelve years of pain now erased, Grendel defaced
All of the Danish embrace, little did they know
What was on the way, would make their twelve years seem like a day
When he’s coming for you, the underground won’t save your life
When he’s looking for you, you're the one he will find
He is not scared of anything, he's indifferent to death
And when dives right into hell he ain’t holding his breath
Hrunting may let him down, but he can still punch you out
Beast number two is all you ever were, he's the cure
He can think up storm while fighting a foe,
You just shut your eyes and run out the door
When he grabbed the giant's sword with all his might,
You just went night, night
(Chorus)
Beowulf, victorious returned to Heorot
Treasure so glorious Hrothgar did share it
The Geat hauled the hoard back to his homeland
A piece of the wealth to each of his whole band
Known land underfoot, he would do his duty
Giving the Geat lord a chunk of the booty
With time the Geat line fell as they warred
So for fifty years, Beowulf was their lord
The third of all the fights, trying to make things right,
Beowulf gets shot to the ground, and to all a good night
In order to defeat he arose right back to his feet,
Looking for his men, where the hell can they be
He was having his doubts, until one man arose,
with the name of Wiglaf that Beowulf doesn't really know
Getting eaten alive, and getting saved by the man on his side,
Beowulf’s almost dead, he's about to die
Beowulf is bleeding out, Beowulf is all red
But he's not gonna quit till all the sacrificial devils are fed
They kill the dragon, left him there to die
But the part we've been waiting for is gonna to make you cry
Beowulf sits down for the last time,
And is shedding no tears but only red wine.
For last that he is gonna speak, he sees his treasure,
Crowns Wiglaf, the king of the Geats
Wiglaf stepped back, and stared in amazement
Sorrow welled up he barely contained it
The new lord made clear the old's last desire
So the people went to work on his funeral pyre
With logs stacked high, and treasures abound
The essence of the old king was placed in the mound
Twelve singing horsemen recalled his deeds
And at long last, his soul was freed

Avenge the Throne
Shield’s Sentinels
His fame reaches out to all the players across the land
Let me tell you about this player from Geatland
The strength of thirty men he got in each arm
Can solve any problem without using any charm
The slayer on monsters, second to the throne
It’s easy to see why Beowulf is so well known
His mind’s worth is just so grand
Slaying monsters in the way of his demand
In snuck the corpse-maker, silent and swift
Hungry for Geats; catch my drift
Talons sweeping down, feasting on bones
Retaliation coming quick, saver of Danes arose
Arms locked, bouncing off the walls
Tables being trashed, smashing up the mead hall
Arm hanging from the roof, Grendel’s screaming, fear
Run away scared, hiding in the mere
(Chorus)
Let me talk to you about my boy Beowulf
Grendel’s bane, the end to his reign
Let me talk to you about my boy Beowulf
Murdered the mother, living in the monster-gutter
Let me talk to you about my boy Beowulf
Came in at the fourth quarter to save the Danes
Why? ‘Cause the Son of Edgtheow, he’s indifferent to death
And he came to…avenge the throne
Got his first booty and never looked back
Shared wealth with his warriors
‘Cause that’s his wolf pack
Took the monsters arm and put it on the rack
Until the mother came in and took it all back
The great Aeschere got is neck split quick
My boy Beowulf wasn’t having that bit
So, he took his soldiers went down to the mere
The vicious monster took him down under the waves
Grendel’s mother was in a ravenous rage
Picked up Beowulf, through him in her cave
Unferth has failed him, that arm lock was lame
Looked as if it was the end of his fame
He then busts out a magic Giant’s sword
This stuff’s too easy, Beowulf’s bored
Another boast added to his word-hoard
(Chorus)
Fifty years of peace until one guy screwed it up
Pissed off the dragon ‘cause he stole a golden cup
The slayer of monsters goes to stop it, no need for backup
The dragon was crazy, the warriors ran
The fire-bird attacks, time for a new plan
Beowulf grabs his sword and snap’s it on the dragon’s head
It grabs him in his jaws and the ground ran red
Wiglaf stabbed the dragon and it fell down dead
Beowulf battled, his days slipping away
Not a soul will forget this fateful day
War-sweat gushing out, venom through his veins
Soon comes the end to the saver of Danes’ reign
Show me the treasure left to the Geats
Build me a barrow to be seen from the sea
He has died, a pyre set alight as people cry
The ashes of Beowulf float up in the sky
